How can I find out about the topics and modules taught in my child’s class?
At the beginning of each academic year, teachers hold a parent workshop to provide information on the different topics and modules taught. Furthermore, curriculum maps outlining what is being taught for each subject across the year is available on the website, under each year group page in the ‘Curriculum’ tab.
How do I find out about school clubs?
At St. Alban’s, we offer a range of breakfast and afterschool school activity clubs. These change on a termly basis. A timetable of the extra-curricular clubs for children for the Autumn, Spring and Summer term is available under the ‘Clubs’ tab.
Do you have a Breakfast and Afterschool Club?
Our Breakfast Club runs from 7:30am to 8:40am every school day. Our Afterschool Club runs from 3:00pm to 5:50pm. To download a brochure and application form, please visit the ‘Afterschool and Breakfast Club’ page under the ‘Parents’ tab.
Is there a facility for disabled parking and access?
Please contact the school office to arrange parking in the disabled bay and access arrangements.
Where can I find information about the members of staff in each class?
Under the ‘About’ tab, there is a ‘Staff’ page which outlines the names of the Senior Leadership Team, the Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants in each class.
How can I support my child’s learning?
DB Primary is our online virtual learning platform, which can be used to help support and facilitate your child’s learning. There is a link on the homepage of our website to this. Also, under the ‘Curriculum’ tab, we have a link to ‘Useful Websites’, which has online resources available to enhance home learning.
Can I access the school’s policies?
Our school policies are available under the ‘Policies & Info’ tab.
